DIG designed a 55,000 SF addition to Baxel Hall to accommodate increased enrollment in the Academy for Allied Health Sciences. Baxel Hall, a four-year career academy focused on health science at UCVTS, is expanding to include specialized spaces for behavioral health study and bio tech training for life sciences. DIG conceived a 55,000 SF addition along with additional parking improvements, to create 300 new seats, doubling the capacity of the AAHS. Baxel Hall is the home of the Academy for Allied Health Sciences (AAHS), one of nine schools under UCVTS, seven of which are located on the main campus in Scotch Plains. UCVTS plans to fund the expansion with a significant budget allocation received from the State of New Jersey.
