JFK expands with a new facility offering respiratory care and centralized oncology services. JFK University Medical Center has expanded across the street into 80 James Street, with a complete interior fit-out across three floors and the main lobby of the existing building. DIG’s team helped the medical center realize its vision for centralized oncology services. Within the new oncology space, DIG designed the interior to prioritize patient comfort and well-being, featuring private infusion bays with natural light and sustainable materials. All finish materials adhered to Hackensack Meridian Health’s strict environmentally conscious finish standards; part of the Health Hospital Initiatives national campaign, which provides hospitals with tools and resources to focus sustainability efforts in the healthcare field.
