This new academic building is designed to showcase programs in technology, the sciences and entrepreneurship with the purpose of providing spaces for students to explore, innovate and discover their passions. A new two-story, 32,000 sf, academic building is planned for the Upper School on the Chestnut Hill Road Campus for the school to remain competitive with peer institutions. The building, designed as a beacon to prospective students and families, as well as the community at large, will showcase programs in Technology, Robotics and Entrepreneurship. Its focal point is a large common area and gathering space for up to 400 students at this commuter-based college preparatory school. The design presents a contemporary form contrasting with the stately presence of the nearby mansion that has been an icon in the Borough and the school’s first home.
