DIG is the design leader of a new, pre-engineered waste building. DIG, as a consultant to CEC Engineering, was tasked with the design of office space at this replacement transfer station. As the design leader, DIG was also responsible for assembling all other disciplines of the project, including specialty consultants. This pre-engineered building, designed to replace the existing transfer station, accommodates a larger waste transfer capacity. The proposed design includes essential features like tarping stations and vehicular scales. To promote sustainability, rainwater gardens have been incorporated into the site’s stormwater management plan.
